Oh sweet "Chronicles of Narnia" at midnight! Oh soo soo good!

Ahhh...didn't get home till 4:20 ish, couldn't fall asleep for the life of me!..and had to work at 7:30 this morning..I think I must still be running on adrelalin because i'm still up when I could be taking a quick nap before...dun dun DUN...the final music class extravaganza of the year! huh...oh well..crash and burn later...

time to get ready for the day!

Highlights of my week....

talking with a good friend...someone who knows the real me and is still my friend..hahaha

and just now i had some time to kill tonight and was on campus so i decided to sit at the fountain...yes it was dark....yes it was probably below 10 degrees but i needed to hear the stillness of god...it was peaceful beyond compare...haha people thought i was crazy...

actually one guy yelled "what the h***" "what are you doing up there??"

to which i replied "just sitting"

he says in a highly disturbed voice "WHY??"

and calmly with a smile on my face say "because it is a beautiful night!"

Haha..that didnt go over well with him because mumbled something on his way inside about just wanting to make sure i wasnt mentally insane...it was said with a bit of sarcasm i wont lie...i just yelled laughing "well thanks for asking!"

I think ive accomplished my goal tonight of standing out of the crowd...hehe

Adventures come when you least expect them...

Thanks Daka, Melissa, Danielle, and Jamie...without you my night would have been a wreck..literally...hehe. Oh man...I think i still havent recovered for that one.

Oh yeah. i don't much like deer anymore...and if you need any information on the boonies around here ask me..I thouroughly explored them last night...and I've decided Peoria doesn't really exist..people just put in on signs to taunt me.

As of right now I am sitting slowly recovering from the amazing meal my whole family prepared...oh sweet foody goodness...and I am reminded that in this season we are often reminded to be thankful for everything that we have..and being the well taught lil girl I am I thought I knew that...until I saw myself dreading things like family time...and I stop..well I should day Jesus stopped me...I AM BLESSED...how quickly among the stress of life have I forgotten that. So as CHEESY as this may seem I am posting my list of what I am thankful for this year...yes...yes I am...I feel a visible reminder just may help me remember all that I have been given....so here goes:

K's "Thank You Jesus List 2005"

1) Family (yes every last one of them...even the ones that the world may say I'm not "technically" related to...)

2) Friends...old and new ...I can't imagine my life without my J-town friends and how amazingly dedicated they have been through the last few years..and I am overflowing with JOY from all my new ISU amigos..they make my heart smile...thank you to all of the above for all you are!!!

3) My home...in Jesus...that is where home truly is...not a house...or even an area..as one wise man once told me.

4) Joy and laughter that has sprinkled my life these past few months especially

5) The fountain...um do I need to elaborate??

6) Beatiful fall and refreshing winter

7) Dances where we aren't afraid to skip to our own beat

8) Retro-Gypsy costumes

9) Adventures

10) Climbing trees

11) Dancing in the rain

13) Clarity in confusing situations

14) Late-night movie nights with my very special bros

15) MMm leftover greenbean cassorole

16) Music...ahhh it heals

17) Peace and quiet but on the other hand loud noisy craziness

oh now I feel like I could go on and on...but you get the jist...JESUS GAVE ME SOME PRETTY STINKIN AMAZING THINGS TO BE THANKFUL FOR THIS YEAR!!! thanks sweet jesus....

Umm...wow...what a day...hehe

Today was supposed to be full of hw and further blah yuck-ness...

instead it included:

 a random wlamart run with my craziest friend, no math class for keturah (umm we'll say it was "canceled")

a random athena and david spotting, honk, yell, call , and hop-outta-car-to-hug!

loooooong day at work...and further exhaustedness

then a much needed deep girl chat

oh yeah...getting pulled over by a  cop cuz of that stupid no turn left onto college...I know you all know what i'm talking about...hmm...but no ticket...we won't elaborate on that one.

and ahh finally home to reflect, talk to Jesus...and oh sweet sleep....
